Ebony
The darkest glossy surface on a Zippo lighter, it could also be called Jet Black. Compared to the Black Ice surface, the lighter is truly black and beautifully shines in the light. The surface is additionally coated with a protective lacquer.
Gray Dusk
This surface resembles Street Chrome, but in a black version. The uneven texture under the black lacquer creates interesting reflections in the sunlight. It was introduced to the market in 2012.
Black Ice
Also known as Black Ice, it is the most common glossy surface with a dark tint. In reality, it looks more like a silver/chrome surface; if you are specifically interested in a black lighter, choose the Ebony version.
Black Crackle
One of the oldest finishes for lighters. During the war, when lighters were made from steel due to a shortage of brass, they rusted. Therefore, they were painted black and then baked, creating this textured surface.
Iron Stone
A gray matte surface that creates the impression of a textured surface, similar to Black Crackle, but the surface is completely flat and smooth.
