This motto has been followed by Zippo for over 80 years. It means that the lighter either works, or it will be fixed for free, in other words, with the purchase of a Zippo lighter, you receive a lifetime warranty. Zippo Manufacturing Company has established several service centers around the world where lighters are repaired. The largest is of course in the USA, while in Europe, the leading service center is in Germany. The nearest service center for Zippo lighter owners in Slovakia is located in the Czech Republic.

Before sending the lighter for warranty service, remove the inner part and leave it out for at least 24 hours to evaporate excess petrol. Then place the lighter in a bubble envelope of at least A5 size. Include a piece of paper with your address, where the lighter will be sent after repair, a phone number in case the service center needs to contact you, and a brief description of the issue. Send the lighter to the address below; it will be fixed and returned to you within 1 - 3 weeks.
